During my recent Christmas getaway at Hakuba Pension & Log Hotel Meteor, I was thoroughly delighted by the blend of coziness and convenience that set the stage for a fantastic winter experience. The free shuttle service from Hakuba Station made our arrival seamless, and their proximity to major ski resorts like Happo-One and Hakuba 47 allowed for effortless fun on the slopes. Each morning, we indulged in a hearty Western-style breakfast at the charming on-site restaurant, fueling us for the day's adventures. The warmth of the staff was truly a standout feature; they were not just accommodating but genuinely kind, ready to assist with local tips or even drive us to the nearby onsen when the weather turned unpredictable. The shared spaces were infused with love and artistic touches from Chika, creating a welcoming atmosphere that felt like home. With wonderful communal areas to share laughter and relax after our daily escapades, I couldn't have asked for a more delightful setting to enjoy the beautiful alpine scenery.
